As members of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International or PAII as we like to call it for short, we are thrilled to be offering our veterans a free night on Veterans Weekend as our way of saying Thank You to our military members for their service to our country. As the wife of a retired Air Force officer I know the sacrifices that the military member makes as well as the family members’ sacrifices. This will be our second year to participate in this program and we enjoyed visiting with the veterans and their spouses. We are looking forward to meeting new participants or having our previous vets return. Hearing their stories (should they wish to share them), as well as serving them breakfast, making them comfortable, and enjoying their company is our plan for 2012. We are looking into having a special event planned for this year’s vets which will remain a surprise for now. We plan to make this an annual event and share our bed and breakfast with as many vets as possible! This year the program is set up for our vets to stay one night and get the second night free. Stay with us Friday November 9 and get Saturday the 10th free, stay Saturday November 10 and get Sunday the 11th free, or stay Sunday the 11th and get Monday the 12th free. Reservations are required and a deposit will be taken at the time of booking. Our cancellation policies will be in effect and No-Shows will be charged for the entire stay as they are taking an opportunity away from a fellow vet! Proof of Military Service is required.
